About the over the hill
Over the hill comes from the creator of art of rally. It's an open-world driving exploration game built around biomes pulled from real places, with an adjustable camera and a lineup of classic 4x4s from the 1960s through the 1980s. You play as an off-roader picking trails where getting there matters more than how fast.
Head out solo or bring up to three friends. Read the ground as forests, lakeshores, and mountains roll past. Lay planks across gaps, winch out of ruts, pack the right gear. Weather and a day-night cycle keep changing what the trails look like. Cabins, vistas, wildlife worth a photo — all of it shows up. Stranger things too: meteorites falling from the sky, portals that lead somewhere new.
The choices are yours. Which trail to run. Whether that climb is worth the risk. What's in the pack. How to yank a stuck friend free. Scavenge parts, trade up, customize the rig, push farther into the backcountry. The appeal is a calm, hands-on off-road drive where discovery and the stories you share come right out of whatever the terrain throws at you.

over the hill Review
Over the Hill takes it slow. You drive vintage 4x4 trucks through stylized trails, alone or with a friend in online co-op. Winch rescues and steady pacing keep the traversal deliberate. Early demo feedback noted sparse objectives as a weak point. The minimalist look fits the unhurried mood.
