Youhu Gameplay and Playstyle
Youhu is a Glacio Gauntlets resonator who functions as a Support and Healer, specializing in full-team healing and Coordinated Attack DMG amplification. Her gameplay revolves around cycling random Antiques into empowered Antique Appraisals to build Auspices and trigger her Outro buff as fast as possible.
Antiques are obtained through Lucky Draw, which activates from her Resonance Skill Scroll Divination, Intro Skill Scroll of Wonders, Heavy Attack Frostfall, Resonance Liberation Fortune's Favor, and Dodge Counter. Each draw grants one of four Antiques at random: Chime, Ruyi, Ding, or Mask. Tapping Basic Attack while holding an Antique casts the corresponding Antique Appraisal, dealing Glacio DMG and generating Concerto Energy. Fortune's Favor is the only tool that bypasses the randomness, letting Youhu pick which Antique she draws and shape her rotation.
Each Antique Appraisal grants one Auspice, stackable up to four. With four Auspices, holding Normal Attack triggers Poetic Essence, her Forte Circuit, which deals Glacio DMG and heals all nearby party members. The Auspice combination dictates the bonus effect: Free Verse from four different types reduces enemy Vibration Strength, Antithesis from a single pair adds 70% Poetic Essence DMG, Double Pun from two pairs grants extra party healing, Triplet from three identical Auspices adds 175% Poetic Essence DMG, and Perfect Rhyme from four identical Auspices stacks Free Verse, Double Pun, and Triplet together.
The centerpiece of Youhu's kit is her Outro Skill Timeless Classics, which amplifies the incoming Resonator's Coordinated Attack DMG by 100% for 28 seconds. This is the largest Coordinated Attack amplification in the game, and the rest of her kit exists to feed Concerto Energy fast enough to trigger it on cooldown. Pair her with Coordinated Attack damage dealers like Yinlin, Zhezhi, or Mortefi to convert that buff into real team damage.

Weapons that boost Energy Regen or Concerto generation are especially valuable for Youhu, as her entire kit revolves around triggering her Outro buff as fast as possible. Her best-in-slot option is Marcato, a 4-star Gauntlet that provides a massive Energy Regen main stat and a Concerto generation passive, letting her access her Outro far more reliably. If another teammate is already running Rejuvenating Glow, Moonlit Clouds becomes the best alternative since the team ATK buff does not stack.
