  • Role

   Glacio Negative status support/healer

  • Current Meta Role (Version 3.5)

In Version 3.5, Resonator Suisui arrives as the 2nd Universal Negative status support in wuwa. Her core strength being that is that it can buff any negative status in-game and also provide huge dmg% buffs along with Attack buff and healing.

  • Should You Pull For Suisui?

You should consider pulling Suisui if you want another Negative Status Buffer other than Chisa, or if you don't have her. You should avoid Suisui if your negative status DPSes are Aemeath, Cartethyia and Zani; she can't buff them as much as Chisa. If you have Hiyuki and Yangyang: Xuanling you should go for Suisui.

  • Suisui Total Buffs.

PULL SUISUI if you need another buffer for Hiyuki to free up Chisa for other teams, Getting Yangyang: Xuanling or want to get more damage out of your Hiyuki

SKIP SUISUI if you already have Chisa. You are not pulling for Yangyang: Xuanling or Don't have Hiyuki/ Dont want more dmg from her

Chisa

  • Role

   Havoc Negative status support/healer

  • Current Meta Role (Version 3.5)

In Version 3.5, Resonator Chisa remains as the go-to Universal Negative status support in Wuwa. Her core strength is that it can buff any negative status in-game and also provide huge dmg% buffs along with def ignore and healing.

  • Should You Pull For Chisa?

You should consider pulling Chisa if you want one character that can buff any Negative status DPS without any restrictions. Zani is the one character that can't be buffed by either Chisa or Suisui. Aside from that, Chisa doesn't have any NS consumption restriction like that of Suisui. If you are pulling for Yangyang: Xualing, you should have both Chisa and Suisui.

  • Chisa Total Buffs.

12% Enemy Def Shred

24% All Attribute DMG bonus18% Def Ignore

25% attack from the set

+3 NS stacks to every type of negative status, including Havoc Bane

  • Final Verdict

PULL CHISA if you need a universal buffer for every Negative Status DPS without any restrictions or Getting Yangyang: Xuanling.

SKIP CHISA if you already have Suisui. You are not pulling for Yangyang: Xuanling or don't have Cartethyia and Aemeath.

Who should you pull, Suisui or Chisa?

The answer ultimately depends on your current roster and the teams you plan to build in Wuthering Waves Version 3.5 and beyond.

If you're looking for the most flexible universal Negative Status support, Chisa remains the safer choice. Her buffs apply consistently across nearly every Negative Status DPS without requiring them to consume Negative Status stacks. This makes her much easier to slot into different teams while also providing valuable DEF Shred and DEF Ignore, which scale well with high-investment characters.

On the other hand, Suisui shines when paired with characters that can fully utilise her kit. If your main DPS consumes Negative Status stacks, her massive ATK buffs combined with DMG amplification can produce excellent results. She is also a great option for players who already own Chisa and need a second premium support for another team, especially with endgame content that requires multiple well-built squads.

If you're planning to summon Yangyang: Xuanling, owning both Chisa and Suisui provides the greatest flexibility for future team compositions. However, if your Astrites are limited and you can only choose one, prioritise the character that best complements your existing roster rather than simply pulling the newest release.

Conclusion

Pull decisions in Wuthering Waves should depend on the teams you want to build and the characters you already have. Chisa and Suisui are both amazing characters with different but overlapping use cases.

If you’re planning to pull in Wuthering Waves 3.5, preparing your Astrites ahead of time can make a big difference. For a fast, secure, and affordable Wuthering Waves top-up, you can head to LootBar and get ready for the upcoming banners.
