Wuthering Waves 3.4 New Characters
Lucy (5★)
Lucy (5★) Lucy is a Spectro Pistols resonator who functions as a Main DPS, specializing in Heavy Attack and Tune Hack - Shifting DMG. Her gameplay revolves around cycling between her base state and Algorithm Compaction to build up and unleash a series of enhanced attacks.
In her base state, Lucy builds TCP through Basic Attacks, Resonance Skill - Payload, and Resonance Skill - Pulse Interference, the latter granting Digital Handshake to passively generate TCP over time. Once TCP is full, Payload and Pulse Interference are replaced with Resonance Skill - Deadlock. Casting Deadlock transitions her into Algorithm Compaction and sets up her core damage loop.
While in Algorithm Compaction, Lucy gains a Spectro DMG Bonus and a stack of SQL, with her Basic Attack and Heavy Attack upgraded to Thread Shredding and Single Threading. Hitting targets builds Root Access, and at full stacks, Single Threading becomes Dual Threading, chaining into Heavy Attack - Multithreading. Spending SQL on Multithreading massively increases its damage multiplier, and casting it upgrades her Resonance Liberation - Netrunner into the stronger Old Net Deep Dive.
Lucy's Resonance Liberation opens the Protocol Interface, where she spends RAM to apply Spoofing Program effects that mark, debuff, and nuke enemies before unleashing Override. She also pairs naturally with Rebecca, as her Intro Skill: Outdated Hallucination enhances Involuntary Sharing on Rebecca and triggers her turret's Overload, while her Function Cracking inherent skill grants both of them Network Backdoor when teammates defeat marked Overlord Class or Calamity Class enemies.
Rebecca (5★)
Rebecca (5★) Rebecca is an Electro Pistols resonator who functions as a Sub-DPS and Amplifier, specializing in Basic Attack DMG and team-wide damage buffs. Her gameplay revolves around freely switching between two states, Huntress and Guts, to build resources and amplify her team.
Rebecca swaps between states by casting her Resonance Skill or Intro Skill, with Huntress granting Crit. DMG and Guts letting her ignore a portion of the target's DEF. In either state, she builds Fervor through Normal Attacks and Resonance Skills while passively regenerating Hot Hand over time. At max Fervor, her Heavy Attack is replaced with the enhanced Rat-tat-tat!: Huntress or Bang-bang-bang!: Guts, consuming all Fervor for a powerful hit.
At max Hot Hand, casting her Intro Skill or Resonance Skill triggers A Girl Gets What She Wants!, granting her the stat bonuses of both Huntress and Guts at once. Her Resonance Liberation - Party 'til Dawn! then deploys the Mk. 31 HMG, creating a Stagnation field where she auto-fires to accumulate Overload, pressing Normal Attack or Resonance Liberation to enhance her firepower - the higher her Overload, the greater the Mk. 31 HMG's damage. Once Overload is maxed, she caps off the rotation with BOOM! Fireworks!.
Rebecca is built to amplify her team, especially Lucy. Her Outro Skill: Preem Choom summons a turret and grants the next Resonator Edgerunner Bonds for All-DMG Amplification and stacking Heavy Attack DMG Amplification through Overlimit, with Lucy automatically receiving max stacks and able to enhance the turret. She also inflicts Tune Hack - Shifting through several of her skills, boosting the team's Tune Break Boost and powering the Cyberpunk duo's shared Tune Hack synergy.
Lucilla (5★)
Lucilla (5★) Lucilla is a Glacio Rectifier resonator who functions as a Support and Amplifier, built to adapt to two completely different team archetypes. Her gameplay revolves around her two Resonance Modes: Resonance Mode - Glacio Chafe and Resonance Mode - Echo, which determine whether she empowers Glacio Chafe teams or Echo Skill teams while granting a DMG Bonus to the whole party.
At the heart of her kit is the Focus Ring, a timing mechanic she deploys by holding Resonance Skill or Normal Attack during Basic Attack Stage 3. Releasing the input while the cursor sits within Perfect Focus deals increased Glacio DMG and restores additional Trace. Casting her Intro Skill, Resonance Skill, and Basic Attack Stage 3 all build Trace, and every 50 points generates a Photo, up to 3.
Her Resonance Liberation - Clear As Day sends her into Reminiscence, where her Basic Attack is replaced with Basic Attack - Tracing Forms. Holding Normal Attack during its third stage consumes Photos to unleash Oblivion, whose damage type and effects shift based on her active Resonance Mode, before the window closes with Letting It Go. Both her Liberation and Reminiscence enhancements scale with whichever mode she's committed to.
Lucilla's value depends entirely on her Resonance Mode. In Resonance Mode - Glacio Chafe, she inflicts Glacio Chafe and uses Film Roll to double allies' Glacio Chafe applications, while her Outro Skill: Montage amplifies Glacio Chafe DMG. In Resonance Mode - Echo, she enables repeated Echo Skill casts, grants Zoom to boost the active Resonator's Echo Skill Crit. DMG, and her Outro provides Echo Skill DMG Amplification to the incoming Resonator, making her a tailored support for either team type.
