Star Dive

Version 1.1.0 - What's Already Live (May 27)

Version 1.1.0 launched on May 27, 2026, introducing new characters Narae and Nagi, Episode 6 of the main story, the Legendary Monster Conquest featuring Reginula, new events, Monsterling filter and combine improvements, and additional equipment salvage improvements.

Narae - Ice Support (5)

Narae

Narae is Mina's younger sister and a 5 Ice Support character. Her kit centers on a Graceful Dew zone that deals Ice DMG, buffs ranged ATK for teammates inside it, and enhances her basic attacks. Her Switch skill also grants allies a shield. A passive trait increases the HP absorption of her shields based on her Ice RES.

Narae Skill Summary

Skill

Effect

Dew-Jade Barrage (Basic)

Ice DMG; 3rd hit enhanced inside Graceful Dew zone

Dew Blankets All (Special)

Creates zone, buffs ranged ATK, pops bubbles for bonus Ice DMG via Fire interaction

Bubble Spout (Ultimate)

Giant water bubble, deals Ice DMG, knocks enemies airborne

Prison of Dew (Switch)

Knockback wave + shields incoming ally, traps airborne foes in bubbles

Blessings of the Morning Dew (Passive)

Shield HP absorption scales with Ice RES

Narae's unique fire-synergy mechanic - where fire damage pops her bubbles for bonus Ice DMG - makes her almost a must-pull if you already have Mina. Even without Mina, she fits any team running ranged damage dealers.

Nagi - New Character (5)

Nagi

Nagi is also releasing during Version 1.1.0. Full skill details for Nagi were not officially revealed ahead of the update.

Nara and Nagi

Episode 6: Flowers Blooming Through Scars

The Version 1.1.0 story update, titled Episode 6: Flowers Blooming Through Scars, continues the Far East region's narrative and introduces Narae and Nagi into the main story.

Legendary Monster Conquest - Reginula

Version 1.1.0 introduces Legendary Monster Conquests, an endgame challenge that was first teased in the First Dive Show. Reginula is the first Legendary Monster available in this mode.

Version 1.2.0 -  What's Coming in Early July

Version 1.2.0 is expected to arrive around July 8, 2026, based on the game's approximate six-week update cycle. It will introduce a summer event, a new limited swimsuit character, one additional unrevealed character, and the long-awaited Dispatch System.

Summer Banners

Summer Banner

Netmarble has confirmed one swimsuit character and one TBA character for Version 1.2.0 but has not named either unit. Details remain marked as in development, so identity and skills may change before release. This is a FOMO-heavy banner cycle  limited seasonal characters typically don't return, making this the highest-priority window for collectors.

Dispatch System - Offline Farming

The Dispatch System is also planned for the Version 1.2.0 window. Netmarble stated it will prepare events leading up to the update specifically to reduce Field Run fatigue while Divers wait for the new offline farming feature, including Monsterling acquisition events and new-character events.

Pull Recommendations

Pull Recommendation

For F2P and Low Spenders:

  • Have Mina? Save everything for Narae. Her ranged ATK buff, shields, and fire synergy are a tier above most supports.

  • Don't have Mina? Mina remains strong after her fluidity patch. Pull her first, then save for Narae in the second half of 1.1.0.

  • Collector / seasonal player? Start hoarding now for July's swimsuit limited - seasonal characters almost never return.

For Dolphins and Whales:

  • Mina's first dupe is extremely powerful, adding an extra clone that deals roughly 50% additional damage. If you're invested in fire teams, duping her before 1.2.0 is worthwhile.

  • That said, don't over-invest. Mina + Narae is already a strong endgame core. Reserve part of your budget for the July limited.

For New Players

Don't overlook the permanent New Expedition and New Friends banners. The New Friends banner guarantees a 5 within your first 20 pulls, then lets you choose a rate-up from six 5 units - a strong foundation for new accounts.

Pity System - Key Numbers to Know

Mongil: Star Dive's pity system guarantees the featured 5 at 90 pulls on character event banners and 80 pulls on artifact banners. Rate-up bonuses begin at 75 pulls for Recruit banners and 65 pulls for Artifact banners. Crucially, the pity system does not feature a fifty-fifty split - once you reach the guaranteed threshold, you get the featured unit outright.

The in-game pull currencies are Compass of Promise for standard banners and Compass of Destiny for event banners. Both can be obtained through the in-game shop or by exchanging Threads of Fate and Threads of Promise via the Exchange Shop.

Conclusion

Mongil: Star Dive's roadmap through July 2026 gives Divers a solid plan: secure Narae in Version 1.1.0 if you run fire or ranged teams, and save heavily for the summer swimsuit limited in Version 1.2.0. The Dispatch System arriving alongside V1.2.0 will meaningfully reduce daily grinding pressure, making early July a milestone update worth staying active for. To get Compasses of Destiny and top up for upcoming banners without overpaying, head to LootBar - it offers fast, secure top-ups at competitive rates.
