What Is the Pokémon GO Forever Forward Season?

Seasons in Pokémon GO are themed periods that bring new events, Pokémon debuts, and rotating bonuses all under one theme. Each Season lasts a few months and shapes everything happening in the game during that window — from what's hatching out of Eggs to which Pokémon you're finding in the wild.

The Pokémon GO Forever Forward Season is the current one, and it's stacked. From the biggest GO Fest in years to brand-new Daily Discovery formats and a loaded GO Pass track, there's genuinely a lot going on between now and September.

If you're planning to push hard this season — stocking up on Raid Passes, grabbing the GO Pass Deluxe, or loading up on Incubators before GO Fest — having Pokécoins ready makes a huge difference. You can top up Pokémon GO coins safely and at solid rates through LootBar, without overpaying compared to the in-app store. Before the biggest events of the season hit, it's worth setting yourself up right, and LootBar is one of the most reliable ways to do it.

New Dynamax Pokémon Are Joining Max Battles

New Dynamax Pokemon joining Max Battles in Pokemon GO Forever Forward Season

The Forever Forward Season is really exciting. We are getting new Dynamax Pokémon, in Pokémon GO. Dynamax Electabuzz, Dynamax Magikarp and Dynamax Feebas are coming to Power Spots when we have Max Battles. More Dynamax debuts are expected as the season continues, so keep your Max Particles ready and your Power Spot radar on.

Also keep an eye out for new Mega-Evolved Pokémon showing up during Mega Raid Days throughout the season. These are limited-window events you don't want to sleep on.

Daily Discoveries — What's New This Season

Daily Discoveries are day-specific bonuses that run throughout each week. Forever Forward brings some notable changes to the lineup, so here's what's different.

Scenic Sunday Replaces Double-Time Sunday

Double-Time Sunday is gone. The new Sunday experience is called Sunday and it is all about the Routes. When you follow a Route you will see Pokémon. The Incense will also bring in more Pokémon but only when you are, on a Route. The best part is that your Buddy Pokémon will get Candy faster when you and your Buddy Pokémon explore the Routes together. You can also run into Mateo up to three times per day while on a Route — worth doing if you're after those Mateo-specific rewards.

Max Mondays Keep Rolling

Max Mondays return unchanged from the previous Season. Power Spots refresh more frequently, additional Power Spots are active compared to other days of the week, and Max Battles rotate to feature different Dynamax Pokémon. Max Battles happen on Mondays from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time.

Showcase Tuesday Gets a Buff

Showcase Tuesday now allows you to enter up to five PokéStop Showcases — an upgrade from before. If you're competitive about showcases, this one's for you.

Note: Daily Discoveries are paused during GO Fest global, GO Wild Area, and GO Tour event weeks.

Community Days This Season

Three Community Days are confirmed for Forever Forward. Mark these now:

·         June 20 — June Community Day

·         July 4 — July Community Day

·         August 16 — August Community Day

Featured Pokémon and exclusive moves get revealed closer to each date. These days are always among the best opportunities to farm Candy and lock in rare moves, so block off those afternoons.
