Esther Gameplay and Playstyle
Esther is a 5 star Wind Melee Assassin who functions as a Main DPS, specializing in burst damage and AoE through a skill called the Dust Cloud. Her damage output is stronger around staying inside the Dust Cloud and landing enhanced Basic Attacks while it's active.
The Dust Cloud is created by her Special Skill and lasts 6 seconds. While inside it, Esther's ATK increases through her passive Maid's Double Life, and her Basic Attacks get enhanced into Wind DMG sword strikes. The Dust Cloud also inflicts Confused on enemies, basically being invisible and preventing them from targeting the whole team. Her Ultimate Skill applies Wind Affliction to enemies, reducing their Wind RES and making enemies take more damage from the whole team. Esther relies on the right setup and crowd control support. She rewards players who manage positioning, timing, and rotations well.

The Special Skill is the first to upgrade because it creates the Dust Cloud and without it, none of Esther's enhanced attack works. Next to upgrade is the Basic Attack because the enhanced version inside the Dust Cloud is her main damage source, and leveling it up raises her DPS value. After that, upgrade the Ultimate Skill to improve Wind Affliction uptime and the damage it deals. The Switch Skill is last to upgrade because even though it contributes through her Ambush mechanic when tagged out, it's damage scaling is still the weakest out of the four skills.
