Kaja's uniqueness stems from being one of the few Heroes in MLBB to have his very own suppression ultimate that allows him to single-target and isolate priority picks. Though with the recent leaks and updates, Kaja's identity is about to completely be shredded. Based off latest Advance Server Updates and preview for Project Reforge, Kaja is no longer the signature pickoff specialist and will now become a fast moving crowd-control initiator that will wreak havoc in team fights by utilizing flights and some AoE control.
While the rework has generated significant excitement, it has also sparked debate among longtime Kaja players who believe the hero's iconic playstyle is being replaced.

Revamped Kaja Overview
The all-new Kaja was previewed on Advance Server patch notes and through the developer updates as mobile support-controller that excels at starting engagements from unusual positions. Moonton refers to the hero as an engage support and a CC specialist who leaps across the map, passes through walls, and locks down multiple enemies with his ultimate, Primal Lightning. The new kit for the hero seems designed to improve Kaja's engagement power while providing much more impact in the team fights. Instead of being an all-about "kidnap" roamer that can pull a target from the fight, Kaja will most likely fill an entire-fledged engage support role.
Passive: Wings of Lightning
Kaja's passive retains the Paralysis mechanic but introduces a completely new Soaring State.
Enemies hit by Kaja's skills become paralyzed, reducing their effectiveness while also slowing them. When entering the Soaring State, Kaja gains additional movement speed, can ignore terrain obstacles, and gains enhanced area-of-effect basic attacks.
Some early testers have noted that the new Paralysis effects feel less impactful than the current version, particularly due to the reduced damage reduction potential compared to live-server Kaja.
Skill 1: Ring of Order
Ring of Order remains Kaja's primary damage skill but has received several adjustments.
The familiar lightning-based damage remains, although various testers have reported that some of the previous chain-lightning interactions and healing values have been reduced compared to the current version. Community feedback suggests that Kaja's lane pressure and sustain may be weaker than before, especially during the early game.
As a result, Kaja's role appears to be shifting away from lane bullying and toward teamfight control.
Skill 2: Soaring Wings
The biggest change in the revamp is Kaja's new mobility skill.
Instead of his traditional dash, Soaring Wings places Kaja into a flight mode that allows him to soar over terrain and engage enemies from unique angles. Enemies struck during flight can be displaced or knocked up, giving Kaja significantly more crowd-control potential.
Initial versions of the skill received criticism due to awkward turning controls and limited maneuverability. However, recent Advance Server patches have introduced several quality-of-life improvements, including reduced cooldowns, smoother turning speed, shorter animations, and extended flight duration when interacting with targets.
Many testers now believe these changes have made the skill significantly more reliable.
Ultimate: Divine Binding
Perhaps the most controversial part of the revamp is Kaja's new ultimate.
The iconic single-target suppression has been removed and replaced with Divine Binding, an area-of-effect restraint ability capable of trapping multiple enemies simultaneously. Instead of dragging a single target, Kaja can now create a control zone that continuously restricts and pulls enemies caught inside.
From a teamfight perspective, the new ultimate has much higher potential. A well-placed Divine Binding can disrupt entire enemy formations and create opportunities for devastating follow-up combos.
However, many veteran Kaja players argue that removing suppression eliminates one of the hero's most valuable strengths. Unlike the current ultimate, Divine Binding can be reacted to and requires significantly more coordination to achieve maximum value.
Recent Advance Server Buffs
Based on community requests,Moonton have been hot on the heels, delivering a number of buffs into the newKaja design. Testing has seen a healthy boost inbase HP(up from 2500 to 2600), coupled with a variety of tweaks forSoaring Wings – a more intuitive feel in flight control, lower cooldown and a higher flight duration. Theultimate has also been gifted enhancements enabling its pull effect to be able to keep track on a travelling Kaja and pull multiple targets more easily.
Community Reception So Far
Reactions to the overhaul have been divided. Many players do like Kaja's new mobility, enhanced initiation capability, and a stronger impact in team fights. Some of those who were not keen about the updates during their initial trial rounds have warmed up to the reworked hero, even arguing that he might become the better roaming option eventually.
However, some Kaja mains in the current roster are still uncomfortable with the removal of the suppression ability.
The present iterations of the hero allow him to deal with key targets that need to be shut down like Fanny, Ling, Hayabusa, and Wanwan. And with him being able to roam, many believe this special role is sacrificed in favor of a typical engaging support. Discussions will continue as balance adjustments on him persist to appear on the Advance Server.
Will Revamped Kaja Be Stronger?
Given some preliminary testing it really seems like it depends. The current Kaja is built entirely around pickoffs, shutting down a single target. It seems as if the new one will be stronger overall in organized team fights with AoE control potential against multiple enemies. If you like aggressive initiators it probably will be more fun but if you're a fan of pure suppression then it probably will take some getting used to.
Conclusion
One of the biggest reworks being explored is on Kaja. His suppression strategy has been changed into mobility-reliant movement with area of control and multiple target crowd control, and his whole concept as a hero changed from him by Moonton. Of course the changes still remain subject to change before the hero is officially released, but the latest changes shows MOONTONs attention to the player concerns on the flight controls and the success on the ulti being useful. If this goes well, Kaja may become one of the most impactful roaming initiator heroes in the MLBB metas to come, and until then, players have to wait for the next Advance server patch to see the new Nazar King arrive in the original game.
