Blue Protocol: Star Resonance gives you a lot of cool powers to unlock as you play, and the Wind Core is one of the fun ones. It is a special item hidden high up in a place called Towering Ruins, inside a bigger area called Asteria Plains. Once you get it, you learn a move called Phantom Dash. This move lets you burst through walls of wind that block off paths you cannot normally reach. Getting this power takes a little bit of work first, since you need another skill before you can even start, but once you have it, moving around the game feels a lot better. In this guide, we will show you how to get the Wind Core step by step, what Phantom Dash actually does once you have it, and a few small things worth knowing before you go get it.

What is the Wind Core
The Wind Core is an elemental resonance object built entirely around motion. Once you resonate with it, your character absorbs its power and gains Phantom Dash, a skill that lets you burst forward through wind barriers that block off hidden paths and high-altitude areas. It falls under a broader skill category called Terra Resonance, which is where movement-based abilities like this one live. Think of Terra Resonance as the game's toolkit for traversal skills you pick up as you explore, rather than a separate leveling system.
Get the Float Ability First
Before you can go to the Wind Core, you will need to first unlock the Float ability, since you need it in order to float when activating the wind channel and getting through the wind tunnels leading up to the location of the wind core. Here are the ways to get it:
Progressing through the Main Story and Side Quest
Progress the main story of the game until you unlock the "Sea Breeze, Fireworks, and You" questline, which becomes available after level 17 in Asteria Plains. And finish the side quest "Starry Night, Fireworks Parade" before meeting Airona at the Fireworks Festival in Asterleeds.
Activating the Instant Lvl. 60 Package in the Newbie's Gift
New players will typically have a Newbie's Gift which the game gives and new players will have the "Newbie Perk" activated for 30 days. The perk gives an option to boost the level to 60, a gift, and newbie privileges.
After you meet the requirements, you can now go to the Ancient City of Vill and find the Hero's Herb.
The Hero's Herb is a giant pale blue plant shaped like wings, interact with it to resonate with its energy.
Once Float is equipped from the Terra Resonance tab in the skills menu, you are now ready to go to the Wind Core.
How to Reach the Wind Core
Fast travel to the Andra Resting Post
Near the teleport device, look for a wind energy orb on the ground and interact with it to activate a wind channel.
Activate the Wind Channel
After you activated the wind channel, jump and hold your Float button to rise into the air. Ride the wind current toward the second tunnel, which will carry you automatically up to the top of Towering Ruins. From there, approach the glowing orb and interact with it to resonate and now you've unlocked Phantom Dash and is added to your Terra Resonance skill list.
Best Uses for Phantom Dash
Phantom Dash is useful for many things, here are many important uses of it:
Breaking through wind barriers that block hidden chests and high-altitude routes.
Chaining with Float mid-air to cover long distances without touching the ground, which is a huge time-saver in a big open world.
Creating shortcuts across the map once you know the terrain, cutting down travel time between objectives.
Dodging incoming attacks during combat, especially useful against bosses with wide telegraphed swings.
Combining Float and Phantom Dash together is really where the skill shines. You get height from Float and burst distance from Phantom Dash, which together let you clear gaps that neither skill could handle on its own.
Conclusion
Getting the Wind Core does not take too long, but it gives you a power that helps you for the rest of the game. Whether you are trying to open hidden chests, explore faster, or dodge hits during a tough fight, Phantom Dash is one of those skills you will keep using again and again. Just get Float first, follow the wind path up to Towering Ruins, and you will have one of the best movement skills in the whole game ready to go.
