Pokémon TCG Pocket Hisuian Zoroark ex Deck - An Overview
Everyday Wonders expansion has introduced a lot more Pokémon ex cards, and Hisuian Zoroark ex is just the one we should never miss. Below are the details about this card:

| Type | |
| Weakness | |
| HP | 150 |

Although Hisuian Zoroark ex doesn’t have a special ability up its sleeve, its skill, Spiteful Illusion, is just enough to make it worthy. In Everyday Wonders, we see a lot of new Pokémon that have a damage-buffing ability.
The same thing also goes for Hisuian Zoroark ex. While this attack can deal 80 damage, you can crank it higher by 20 points for each of your discarded Pokémon. Yes, you can easily gain a damage buff by simply removing your Pokémon.
How to Get Hisuian Zoroark ex Card
As usual, there are three possible ways to obtain this card:
Hisuian Zoroark ex is obtainable from the Picnic Pack of Everyday Wonders. The pull rate is 0%, 0.333%, and 1.333% for the first three pulls, the fourth, and the fifth.
Hisuian Zoroark ex can be crafted using 500 Pack Points of Everyday Wonders. If you missed it on your first try, spend some currency to pull more cards to get the points.
This Pokémon can be obtained from trading. What you need is 5000 Shinedust and a 4-Diamond rarity Pokémon.
The Pokémon TCG Pocket Hisuian Zoroark ex Deck
With its skill, we can synergize Hisuian Zoroark ex with a Pokémon that may benefit from discarding Pokémon. The one Pokémon in question is Froslass. Frosslass has to discard a card from your hand each time it has to attack. Otherwise, the attack will deal 0 damage.
Since both Pokémon rely on discarding cards, the combination of Frosslass and Hisuian Zoroark ex is just perfect. While attacking the enemy, you increase the damage of Hisuian Zoroark ex at the same time.
To increase the damage even more, we can use the Training Area Stadium Card to buff the damage by 10 points. This card works well with Frosslass and Hisuian Zoroark ex, as they are both Stage 1 Pokémon.
Pros:
Both Pokémon can synergize really well due to their nature of discarding cards for offense.
After you’ve piled enough cards, Hisuian Zoroark ex will be unstoppable.
Cons:
You’ll have to discard cards for this deck to function. If you fail to do so, Hisuian Zoroark ex will only do minimal damage, while Frosslass deals 0 damage.
Cards You’ll Need
| Cards | Amount |
| Snorunt | 2x |
| Mantyke | 2x |
| Froslass | 2x |
| Hisuian Zorua | 2x |
| Hisuian Zoroark ex | 2x |
| Sabrina | 1x |
| Cyrus | 1x |
| Copycat | 2x |
| Training Area | 1x |
| Elegant Cape | 1x |
| Poke Ball | 2x |
| Professor's Research | 2x |
How to Use This Deck
Did you notice that we’ll use Mantyke for this deck? At the early stages, put Mantyke on the Active Spot and Hisuian Zorua at the Bench. Having Mantyke at the Active Spot will activate its skill to draw as much energy as you need.
By keeping doing so, you can collect the energy required by Hisuian Zoroark to unleash its skill. Mantyke also has a relatively low HP, making it a good card to discard for the sake of Hisuian Zoroark ex’s damage buff.
Keep discarding at least 5 Pokémon and use the Training Area to deal around 190 points of damage. This can easily defeat most Pokémon in one hit. If the enemy uses Mega Alataria ex or Mega Lucario ex, it’ll be an easy fight for you.
While preparing the energy, you can use Froslass to do the chip damage at the early stages of battle. By attacking, you’ll discard the Pokémon cards naturally without letting the enemy get a point.
Since Froslass only requires one Water Energy, you can spam the attack as much as you need. When you think the amount of discarded Pokémon is enough, switch Hisuian Zoroark ex back to the active spot and have a good laugh over the crazy amount of damage you’ll unleash.
Beating Hisuian Zoroark ex Decks
Naturally, Hisuian Zoroark ex relies a lot on discarding Pokémon cards, which takes time. Have the opportunity to use the strongest Pokémon against it.
There are a few options to consider, but we highly recommend using Mega Lucario ex since it’s a Fighting Pokémon and can one-hit Hisuian Zoroark ex pretty easily. Using Arena of Antiquity can increase the damage even higher.
Conclusion
It’s not unusual to say that Pokémon TCG Pocket Hisuian Zoroark ex deck can be one of the most powerful metas right now. It hits so hard and only requires players to discard their own Pokémon. Combine it with Froslass, and you’ll be having a good time tackling enemies here and there.
If you haven’t got this card, then you’ll miss it a lot. So, get Poké Gold from a reputable source, like Lootbar, and try your best luck.
