Ch'en the Dawnstreak is a 6-star Arts Fighter Guard from Yan, the latest alternate version of Ch'en built entirely around annihilating bosses regardless of their defensive stats. As an Arts Fighter, her attacks natively deal Arts damage, but her first talent, Piercing Shape, Perceiving Intent, takes this further by converting her attacks into Weakness Damage while granting flat ATK and ASPD buffs. Weakness Damage shifts between Physical and Arts based on whichever the enemy's DEF or RES is lower, meaning she always hits the target's weak point. Her second talent, Percepting Heart, Unwavered by Surroundings, gives her passive self-healing scaling off her ATK and grants her a dodge against the next Physical or Arts attack whenever she goes untouched for 7 seconds. Even without optimization it usually lands 3 to 4 ticks per cast, which is more than enough to shred bosses regardless of their HP pool. Mastery is non-negotiable.

S2 - Chi Xiao - Shadowless: Chase - Situational

Shadowless: Chase gives Ch'en a short 6-second burst window with an expanded cross-pattern range. Useful when a fight demands a faster burst cycle than S3 can provide, but rarely the optimal choice in general use. Consider Mastery only if you have specific content in mind.

S1 - Chi Xiao - Fleeting Night - Skip

Fleeting Night is a basic offensive skill without the HP-scaling dragon or wide range of her other skills. Functional at SL7 for casual content but completely outclassed by S3. No reason to invest Mastery here.
