What Are Magic Charms?
Magic Charms are a seasonal mechanic that grants bonus stats and special abilities to heroes. Each hero has three Charm slots, and Charms are hero-specific — they cannot be transferred to other heroes. They unlock after reaching Season AFK Stage 305, where you can begin clearing Treasure Challenges in Dura's Trials to collect them.
Key rules to keep in mind:
All Treasure Challenges drop Magic Charms, while each challenge also enhances the drop rate of exclusive Charms for heroes of a corresponding profession.
The drop rate of higher quality Magic Charms increases with each floor.
You get Dura's Tokens capped at 3 per day, refreshing daily. Reaching the 6th and 12th floors of any 10 Treasure Challenges raises the cap to 5.
Charms come in the following qualities: Rare, Elite, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic.
Charm Quality and Stats by Class
Each Charm's base stats scale with quality and vary by hero class. Here is a snapshot of Mythic-tier values:
Class | HP | ATK | Phys/Magic DEF | Special Stat |
Mage | 23.3% | 18.1% | 11.1% | Haste +1.7 |
Marksman | 24% | 17.5% | 17.2% | ATK SPD +2% |
Rogue | 22% | 18.3% | 17.5% | Crit +3.3% |
Support | 26% | 15.3% | 19.6% | Healing +2 |
Tank | 28% | 11.4% | 22.9% | Crit Resist +3% |
Warrior | 21.7% | 17.1% | 21.9% | Ranged DEF +3 |
Mythic+ pushes every figure even higher, making it the endgame target for core heroes.
Quality Bonus and Set Bonus
There are two bonus layers beyond raw stats.
Quality Bonus: When a character equips three Magic Charms of the same quality or higher (Elite, Epic, Legendary, or Mythic), they gain a Quality Bonus that grants them an additional skill in battle. Quality Bonuses change each season. The current season (Season 7, Crown of Ashes) introduces a fresh Quality Bonus set tied to the new meta.
Mythic Set Bonus: Mythic Charms provide a Set Bonus that activates once a character is equipped with three of the same type of Mythic Charm. There are 30 Mythic Charm types, each categorized by different stat pairings.
Here is a breakdown of all Mythic Charm types and their bonus stats:

Crafting Charms: What It Costs
Players can craft specific Charms for a character by using Charm Essences or Radiant Crests. Here is the full crafting cost table:
Quality | Material Required |
Rare (II) | Golden Essence x200 |
Elite (III) | Golden Essence x900 |
Elite+ (III+) | Basic Radiant Crest x20 |
Epic (IV) | Crimson Essence x300 |
Legendary (V) | Crimson Essence x1,200 |
Legendary+ (V+) | Basic Radiant Crest x320 |
Mythic (VI) | Branco Essence x600 |
Mythic+ (VI+) | Advanced Radiant Crest |
Crafting is the smarter path when RNG drops haven't given you the specific Charm you need for a priority hero.
Important: Ignore the In-Game Recommendations for Competitive Play
The "recommended" Charms (orange thumbs-up icon) are not the best ones for each hero. For PvP modes like Arena and for Dream Realm, following the recommendation leaves a ton of potential on the table, since these modes require very different stats. If you copy formations from leaderboard players, it will not copy their Magic Charms — you need to adjust them manually.
This is one of the most common mistakes mid-level players make. Two accounts with identical heroes and investment can show a difference of 60 Resonance Levels worth of performance simply from Charm loadouts.
Best Mythic Charm Sets by Faction (Season 7 Meta)
Wilder
Cecia
Cecia (Very High Priority): Arcane Charms are non-negotiable for Dream Realm. Skill Power increases the potency of the Attack buff she grants to allies, and the ATK stat scales the base value of that buff. Arcane Charms maximize her role as a force multiplier for your entire team.
Aurora
Aurora (Very High Priority): Start with Sorcery Charms. It is the most consistent and widely applicable set across the vast majority of Dream Realm bosses. Specific Endless boss mechanics may occasionally favor Mystic (for survivability) or Blast (for burst windows), but build Sorcery first.
Florabelle
Florabelle (Very High Priority, if Supreme+): Gale Charms, tested extensively on Pioneer servers, yield the highest damage ceiling. This is a priority investment if she is in your rotation.
Mauler
Gerda
Gerda (Critical Priority): If you only refine one hero's Charms this week, it is Gerda. Her usage in Dream Realm is essentially 100%, appearing in top formations for all eight bosses. Blast Charms synergize perfectly with her kit, maximizing the damage of her ramping ultimate and burst phases. Drop everything and craft these.
Kordan
Kordan (High Priority): Blast Charms, same reasoning as Gerda. His role as an alternative boss DPS rewards the same raw damage amplification.
Celestial
Elijah and Lailah
Elijah and Lailah (High Priority): The Twins appear in 7 out of 8 top Dream Realm teams. Sorcery Charms maximize their team-wide buffing capability. Eagle Charms are a niche alternative for specific score-chasing on certain bosses, but Sorcery is the safe, high-value investment to make first.
Aliceth
Aliceth (Very High Priority): A staple of Endless Dream Realm. Arcane Charms provide the raw statistical power she needs to shred through high-health bosses.
Graveborn
Shemira
Shemira (Very High Priority): Do not get baited by Blast Charms. The game's recommendation system often points players toward Blast for Shemira. This is incorrect. Butcher Charms are the proven superior choice, significantly amplifying her damage over the course of a fight.
Daimon
Daimon (High Priority): Mystic Charms provide the best balance of durability and damage for both his PvE and PvP roles.
Lightbearer
Hugan
Hugan (High Priority): Mystic Charms are the safer, more versatile option, performing excellently in AFK Stages and holding their own in most Dream Realm encounters. For specific Endless bosses, Blast Charms can edge ahead. If you only invest in one set, go Mystic.
Silven
Silven (High Priority): Gale Charms, because Attack Speed means more frequent procs of his extra blades, which translates directly to significantly higher damage output. Do not overthink this one.
Hypogean
Mehira
Mehira (Moderate Priority): Mystic Charms for generalist use. Arcane can be situationally better if she is your dedicated carry, but Mystic handles both AFK Stages and PvE without needing to swap.
Gunnar
Gunnar (High Priority): Blast Charms increase his Ultimate Power and Attack. Both stats directly increase the Attack buff he provides to the ally positioned directly behind him.
Season 7 Charm Updates (Crown of Ashes)
Crown of Ashes launched on May 29, 2026, and introduced a new set of Magic Charms. Players can collect Essence and Crests from specific modes, then craft and refine Charms to empower their heroes. Season 7 also introduces the Soul Pact mechanic, which adds a summon layer to battles. New Charms and the Soul Pact system together create a fresh optimization layer for summon-based carries like Aurora, Cecia, and Florabelle. Old Season 6 Charms become less relevant after the transition, so avoid over-investing in refining them.
Conclusion
Magic Charms are not a passive upgrade you can set and forget. The gap between using the right Mythic set and following the in-game recommendation can define your Dream Realm rank, your AFK Stage ceiling, and your Arena performance. Start with your core carries - Gerda, Aurora, Cecia, and your Elijah and Lailah - get their Mythic sets right, then work outward across your roster from there. Season 7's Crown of Ashes brings new Charm sets and the Soul Pact mechanic, so staying current with the meta each boss rotation will keep your score climbing.
